YOUTH EMPOWERMENT / DEVELOPMENT to include creation of job opportunities, promotion of self-empowerment / entrepreneurial skills, Sports regeneration through the provision of new sporting facilities and development of all existing ones, Establishment of recreational facilities such as viewing centres and relaxation spots across the LG, Upward review of bursary awards to students in institutions of higher learning.
TRADE IMPROVEMENT SCHEME involving provision of capital for new businesses, and expansion of existing ones, modernization of all existing markets, Construction of modern shopping malls to be allocated to traders and business women at subsidized rates, Creation of a bureau for women affairs.
ELDERLY PEOPLE’S WELFARE PACKAGE which will involve the introduction of the bureau for Elders affairs, Special monthly package for people aged 60 and above in the LG, payment of monthly stipends to people aged 60 and above in the LG, Regular monthly meetings with elders under the auspices of the Elders forum.
GENERAL EMPOWERMENT FOR ALL will have Award of contracts for the construction of good road network with modern and durable drainage systems, Establishment of two comprehensive Health centres in the LG and one mini Health centre in each of the seven wards in the LG, Establishment of FKJ Ventures for the purposes of revenue generation and job creation, Provision of general infrastructural facilities and Social amenities.
